With the development and progress of the industry, structures of the modernautomobile become increasingly complex. As a window of people and autombile,automobile combination dashboard has become a center of information. While, theincreasing complexity of automobile dashboard and increasing of the function, it hasbecome the focus of attention that all about carload safety performance monitoring.How to conduct a comprehensive detection of the function of the factory automotivecombination dashboard and improve the safety performance, which is not onlyrelated to the quality of automobile and driving safety, but also related peesonalsafety and property safety of the people.In this paper, large number of domestic and oversea literature have been readand summarized, according to extensive research for technology of automobilecombination dashboard, technology of dashboard detection, driver information ofdashboardï¼›A universal detection system of automobile combination dashboard aredesigned and developed, the detection method of traditional is instead. Automaticdetection has achieved, improved the safety performance of combination dashboardwhen thy leave the factory.In this paper, it is designed a detection system of automobile combinationdashboard, including electronic control unit, control system of the PC,communication with the PC and electronic control unit. The core component of theelectronic control unit is Fujistu car-on-chip MB96F386, which can communicationwith PC and control the external circuit to produce a variety of detecting signals. Inthe control system of the PC, it is achieved input that is detections and detectionparameters of automobile combination dashboard.In this paper, error analysis and testing laboratories of the detection system arecompleted, The system testing results of automotive combination dashboard with themaximum relative error less than2.5%, which meets the specified accuracy requirements in the automotive industrial standard QC/T727-2007Instruments forMotor Vehicles and Motorcycles.
