The subway gets more and more favored by people, because of its fast and comf ort, has been the object of city rail transit development. Power supply system is an i mportant part of the subway, not only to provide traction power for electric trains, but also to provide electrical energy for other facilities of the subway. If the power suppl y gets problems, will not only cause the subway transportation paralysis, bring great e conomic losses, also endanger the life safety of the passengers. Therefore, it becomes more and more important to analyse and research on how to improve the reliability a nd safety of the metro power supply system.After the research on the evaluation of reliability evaluation and security areas, th is passage dose a comparative study on the analysis of reliability evaluation method a nd safety evaluation method, find out which research method to more suitable for met ro power supply system for assessment and prediction.This paper focuses on the reliability analysis of the traction power supply system, including the reliability evaluation and prediction. In Tianjin Metro Line1as the pro totype, it analyzes the operation mode of the traction power supply system, and evalu ates the reliability according to the operation mode. First, the passage makes the quali tative and quantitative analysis to traction substation by using fault tree, getting the m inimum cut sets and structure importance degree, and the components/systems of influ encing the reliability of equipment greatly, which is the main component of possible f ault. According to these main components, makes the fault mode effect analysis. Then according to the reliability parameter knowned, calculating the failure probability of t he top event, to get the reliability of the traction substation, and puts forward a series of measures to improve the reliability of traction substation.Then, it makes a reliability prediction to the system.this paper uses the mathema tical model analysis method, established the mathematical model of system reliability p rediction, according to the known parameters to calculate the system reliability predicti on; in accordance with the actual monitoring data of Metro Inc to calculate reliable d egree of the actual measured value. The results shows that the veracity of the theory of reliability prediction is high, the reliability mathematical model and reliability evalu ation method used in this study has high accuracy and practicability.Finally, it makes an analysis of the safety evaluation of metro power system, and finds out factors influencing safety of power supply system of metro, setting up safet y evaluation index system of power supply system.using the grey whitenization weigh t function clustering method,grey whitenization weight function clustering evaluation m odel is established, in Tianjin Metro Line1as an example, has carried on the exampl eanalysis, the final results consistent with the actual level of security of the Metro Inc, to prove the accuracy and practicability of the method. And improvement measures ar e proposed for the deficiency of subway.
