Nowadays, as the development of the science and technology, thecapabilities of machinery and equipment system such as crane are continuingimprovement. Along with the international market competition aggravating,hoisting and conveying machinery at international extend enhance thetechnology content. But there are many problems hiding behind the high-speeddevelopment,so that the accident happened high frequency can be found.Because these hidden troubles are difficult to find out,the reliability and securityabout the hoisting devices are more important compared with the other kinds ofmachinery,so it is very necessary for us to estimate and analyze reasonable,comprehensive,veracious,so as to,the hidden trouble in time can be found,and make corresponding countermeasures to clear up the hidden troubles.From the perspective of failure,analyzing the reliability of luffing system ofthe truck crane. First establishing the reliability analysis model by Beyasiannetwork,and the using the fuzzy set theory and expert evaluation method tocalculate the probability of leaf nodes,and finally by the MSBNX(MicrosoftBayesian Network)toolbox software calculating the probability of the root nodeand carrying on diagnostic reasoning to find the weak link of the system andgive the improvements.And then from the perspective of the system,assessing the safety of luffingsystem the truck crane. First,a safety assessment model for luffing system issettled up based on FMEA(Failure Mode Effect Analysis),combined with fuzzyset theory and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process),which can be qualitativelyand quantitatively evaluate the safety of the system. In so doing,it would beeasier to determine the safety class and score of the whole system. According tothe evaluation results of the system,improving measures can be taken by theenterprise or department concerned in hoping to prevent the accidentseffectively.In this paper,the safety evaluation process,based on the Visual C++ development platform,combined with the Access database storage capacity todevelop a "luffing system security evaluation system. Through engineeringexample,the evaluation results with the actual analysis of the results arebasically consistent,it can be concluded that the result of assessment isconsistent with the practical situation of the trolley traveling mechanism,it canwholly reflect the safety of system quickly. Thus,it can provide an effectivelysynthetic evaluation method for safety assessment of luffing system of the truckcarne.
