Optimization Of The Existin Community’s Facilities For The Aged In The Metropolitan Center Area

Population aging is irreversible current global trends, the aging population of the metropolitan center areas are more prominent, and home care is the most important way of pension in the current case, studying the existing communities’facilities for the elderly in the metropolitan center areas has great significance, making for other regions and cities where the degree of aging of our population is relatively not high. Based on the perspective of architecture and planning, through literature research, field research, surveys and interviews, statistical analysis methods, case studies, the article is going to study the optimization of the existing communities’facilities for the elderly in the metropolitan center area.Firstly, this article based on the fundamentals which can build the perfect elderly life and international research on aging to improve community life, from the type of facility, accessibility and suitability for the old, and then this article summarizes the ideal characteristics of the community facilities for the old.Then the metropolitan area of the existing community center is divided into two types of communities:before the1990s and since1990to study separately, according to the author’s field research, mainly from the characteristics of the community, community care facilities and the case which can learn to optimize, two types of communities both have problems in facility type, accessibility, and suitability for the old. The former:small and features a single facility type; small number of planned distribution, the small-scale, small and poor service radius position; The latter:type are still not comprehensive enough and sufficiently sophisticated and therefore cannot meet the needs of the elderly population; insufficient number of planned distribution, the scale is not big enough, accessibility is poor. Then causes behind the problems are analyzed from the policy, markets and resources, technical tripartite.Finally, this article presented the optimization objectives, principles, the overall optimization strategy, and the summary of the problems above, mainly from the type of facility, planning and distribution, suitability for the old in hardware and details, in order to study the methods of optimization about this two types of community.
