The environment of metallurgical enterprise is restricted by tight layout of workshop, powerhouse and space, so that the crossing density made by trains and highways’ intersections is very high, and the number of crossings is big, and many of them are low grade level and unmanned crossings. Meanwhile, there are a lot of shunting operations in metallurgical enterprise, and trains through the crossing frequently; the speed of trains is slow, and the close time of crossing is long; it’s easy to cause accidents that vehicles and pedestrians break the crossing rules, and it has seriously affected the safety and efficiency of train’s running.In this thesis, considering the above problems about the safety and efficiency of the crossing, using communication-based train control system technology for reference, and by making use of the wireless video monitoring technology, a research aiming at improving the efficiency of crossing traffic control technology and ensuring the safety of the train by crossing has completed, a scheme of the communication-based train-ground cooperative control system in enterprise crossing has been proposed, a design of train-ground cooperative control system has been completed. On this basis, a safety train-ground cooperative control strategy has been fully studied. The major work in this thesis is focused on the following:Firstly, business process of the train through the crossing in metallurgical enterprise was analyzed, system scheme of train-ground cooperative control in enterprise crossing was proposed by using communication-based train control system technology for reference.Secondly, functional requirement about train control and crossing control were analyzed, and the overall design of communication-based train-ground cooperative control system in enterprise crossing was completed.Thirdly, the division method of the crossing control was studied, the length of approach section near the crossing was optimized according to train speed and corresponding’s braking coefficient, on this basis, the control strategy of train-ground cooperative was studied, and the main control method was given.Fourthly, the function of crossing and the collaborative optimization strategy of crossing’s road and crossing’s railway are presented to improve the efficiency of crossing based on the detection data of the crossing’s road. Finally, the main function’s simulation software of the train-ground cooperative control system in enterprise crossing was designed, including train control software and crossing control software, and the simulation was completed, it is indicated that the communication-based train-ground cooperative control system in enterprise crossing and its safety control are effective.
