Diesel generator is the most widely used in the emergency generator,commonly used in shipping, industrial, hospitals and communications industries.In this paper, design power of1MW6pole salient pole brushless synchronousgenerator, which matched with a diesel engine for emergency diesel generator,According to the basic theory of electromagnetic design of synchronousgenerator, design the generator electromagnetism scheme, and in-depth study ofthe electromagnetic parameters and the performance of the motor generatorcombined with finite element method. After analyzing the working condition ofthe generator with rectifier device, and the rational design filter device.Firstly, in accordance with the technical requirements to design theelectromagnetic scheme of6pole synchronous generator, and calculate theassociated electromagnetic parameters and motor performance through acombination of field-circuit method to determine the traditional algorithmdesigned electromagnetic program correctness.Secondly, in this dissertation, the rated excitation current, load voltageharmonic coefficients, synchronous reactance, transient parameters, time constant,and iron loss, etc. using traditional algorithms and comparative analysis of thefinite element method to do the calculation. After the optimization of magneticslot wedge generator, analysis of the impact of electromagnetic parameters andthe performance of the motor magnetic slot wedge on the generators, includingthe voltage harmonic coefficient, air gap magnetic field, air gap coefficient, slotleakage reactance, excitation current, short circuit ratio and loss as well as theinfluence of magnetic slot wedge electromagnetic force analysis and calculation.Finally, analysis of the generator with rectifier load, the armature windingmotor phase voltage waveform will be affected by the generator and rectifier.Especially in the commutation time, due to the leakage reactance of existence, will produce a voltage drop in the leakage reactance, the armature windinggenerates periodic non sinusoidal voltage and current, which caused distortion ofwaveform generator voltage, affecting the power supply quality. For harmonicgenerated above the accurate analysis and rational allocation of filtering device,reduce the harmonic, make reasonable work of the rectifier system consists of agenerator, a good system performance. The conclusion can be designed for smalland medium synchronous generator and rectifier load when working with arectifier and filter design provides a theoretical basis.
