High slip rotating armature asynchronous generator with rectifier load is powerunit of compressor, which is applied in West-East Second Pipeline Project because ofits special design. When it is running at rated conditions, it has features of thatoperating point of magnetic circuit locates in the linear part of the no-loadcharacteristic curve. But the parameters calculation of AC side and DC side inrectifier circuit are different from the synchronous generator with rectifier load, inorder to study influence of operational performance of high slip rotating armatureasynchronous generator by changes of these parameters, taking a rated power of78.5kW rotating armature asynchronous generator with rectifier load as an example,the electromagnetic design and performance analysis are investigated in thisdissertation.Firstly, the structure and working principle of high slip rotating armatureasynchronous generator with rectifier load were introduced in this dissertation. Then,power distribution and power workflow of rotating armature asynchronous generatorwere given by T-type equivalent circuit equation, which provided theoretical basisfor following electromagnetic design and analysis.Secondly, with a rated power of78.5kW rotating armature asynchronousgenerator with rectifier load running in rated slip ratio4.2as an example. Theelectromagnetic design and analysis of high slip rotating armature asynchronousgenerator were investigated in this dissertation, which included the parameterscalculation on AC and DC sides of rectifying circuit, the main dimension calculation,the relevant experience coefficients and loss calculation of rotating armatureasynchronous generator. Whole calculation results of rotating armature asynchronous generator running at rated conditions were given in this dissertation.Finally, the mathematical model for the steady-state electromagnetic field ofrotating armature asynchronous generator was given in this dissertation. And the2Dfinite element analysis model of rotating armature asynchronous generator wasestablished, which proceeded finite element simulation with external circuit rectifierload. The core magnetic flux density and harmonic content of rotor phase currentwere analyzed under rotating armature asynchronous generator running conditions ofslip2,3,5and rated slip4.2. Meanwhile, the overlap angle and phase differenceproduced by fundamental phase current and fundamental phase voltage of rotorwinding were calculated and analyzed under ratio between rectifier load and totalleakage reactance after stator was imputed to the rotor side of rotating armatureasynchronous generator change from15times to60times.
