For the current status of weapons test and the development trends of special ammunition, the paper proposes a new test method based on the virtual instrument for the test of parameters of special ammunition, and designs a multi-function test system based on the depth study about the key technology of the method.The special parameters of ammunition include the detonation temperature, the smoke area and transmittance, the sound waves, the shock waves etc. and determine the measurement principle and method based on the analysis of the characteristics of each parameter. The system builds the PC-DAQ architecture virtual instrument hardware, choose the proper hardware, including the Apollo-150portable computer and the DAQ-2010synchronous data capture card. Accomplishing the software design by the image programming software Labview8.5, and the system collects and processes the data, and manages the information.Finally, this paper has doing experiments with the developed testing device. The experiments show that the accuracy of the temperature measurement isĀ±1.75%, and the smoke area is5%, and transmittance is4.8%,and the deviation of sound waves is less than6db, and the accuracy of the shock waves is2.7%, and meeting the test requirements.
