On the priemise of the rapid development of science technology and networktechnology, Electric power enterprises are gradually towards the construction ofnetwork information. Electric power enterprise which related to national economy andpeople’s livelihood appears important all the more in network informatizationconstruction tide. Therefore, how to use network technology to achieve the networkconnectivity status monitoring of the electric power enterprise is an essential researchtopic. This essay takes “design and implementation of network connectivitymonitoring system” as its research object. Under this premise, designed anddeveloped a brand new electric power enterprise network connectivity monitoringsystem.Previously, I carried out a detailed analysis of the network connectivity monitoringsystems currently used by the electric power enterprise. Considering the functionssetting of system and the needed of system access the electric power enterpriseinternal virtual private network (VPN). All these work has been succesfully completedthe phase of the mission of requirements analysis, and we determined the functionalrequirements and the non-functional requirements of the system. Moreover, theseworks also achieved theSystem development of software and hardware requirements.Through the analysis of the requirements analysis specifications, I designed theoverall structure of the electric power enterprise network connectivity monitoringsystem, function module, structure of network monitoring, database and user interface.On the structure design respect, through the adoption of the C/S three layerarchitecture model, I constructed the overall architecture of the system, and then thenetwork connectivity monitoring system is divided into three levels, they are datalayer, business logic layer and presentation layer. In the aspect of database design, Iestablished system E-R model and transformed to the database relational schema. Inthe aspect of function module design, confirm the main development of systemmodule is as follows: control centre, local scheduling, electric power plant, convertingstation and so on. It can fully implement the electric power enterprise networkconnectivity monitoring system functional requirements. Moreover, it bringsconvenience to the follow-up development of the system and system maintenance. Through the analysis of the implementation process of the Ping, I completed thecore part of the system. In the phase of project acceptance check, through many timetests the network connectivity monitoring System was running well and finally usedin the electric power enterprise.
