The traditional AC distribution is facing great challenges of power supply tension, power quality problems and distributed energy accession. The research data shows that, the DC distribution grid can not only improve the power supply capacity, decrease the line loss and isolate the AC grid fault propagation, it can also improve the power quality on the user side as well as provide flexible and convenient access conditions to renewable energy sources. Therefore, the research on DC distribution has always attracted wide attention from various countries. The domestic researches focus on the steady-state and failure analysis and protection, stable operation and power quality control. The establishment of DC power distribution experimental system can provide simulated and experimental research for DC power distribution, which can promote the development of DC distribution technology.This paper studys on DC power distribution experimental system for distributed power acess. First of all, the basic concepts of the DC distribution system and dynamic simulation are be collected and summarized, and the topological structure, voltage level, controlling and protection for DC distributed system are briefly summarized. On the other hand, the similarity principle and common modeling are briefly overviewed, which is providing theoretical support for the DC distribution experimental system.In addition, this paper studys on the structure and function of the DC distribution experimental system, whichincluding physical simulation (dynamic simulation) and numerical simulation (analogue simulation), and it can do the modeling and simulation and experiment research on topological structure, system control and protection, and some related DC distribution technology. Following this principle, this paper compares the simulation software and real-time simulation systems and chooses the suitable one for the system. And then the structure of the dynamic simulation platform has been designed, as well as the main models (including distributed power, storage devices, loads, lines, DC transformer and DC breakers, etc.). In addition, the measurement and control system has been designed.In the end, this paper does the simulation on a typical DC distribution system.
