Finds out the humanizationproblems that exist in each square, gives the corresponding improvement suggestions.At last, thewriter finds out that higher overall satisfaction squares in Hang-zhou are Wu-shan Square andWest Lake Cultural Plaza by summarizing. Relatively speaking, lower overall satisfaction squaresin Hang-zhou are the Xi-cheng square, Yun-he square and Qingchun square. Finds out theadvantages that should keep and the problems that exist in Hang-zhou city squares. Presents thehumanization suggestions for Hang-zhou city square design, and seeks the universal significancefor the design methods of city square.The main conclusion for this thesis is: City squares should form a system in the city, andpromote the orderly development of city planning as the regional centrals. The scale should becontrolled. Avoid the appearance of super large square for more than10hectares and the cause ofthe waste of land resources. City squares should have good accessibility and blend with the overallenvironment of city.
