As an efficient, new steel structural members, corrugated web H-shaped steel beamis composed by the corrugated web and flange. It is a improved form of ordinary-shapedsteel beams. Compared with the traditional flat web of H-shaped steel beam, thecorrugated webs can use thinner thickNess (usually1to3mm) to obtain higher-planestiffness and higher local buckling stress. It has a good performance with partialpressure in the case of no stiffener, compared with the ordinary shaped steel beams. Italso can reduce the manual welding process in the construction process, improving itseconomic efficiency. Crane beam subjected to dynamic loads, fatigue problems; movingconcentrated load (hanging wheel pressure) local bearing strength requirements. In thispaper, using the corrugated web H-beam crane beam as the object. combined withengineering practice, firstly used the method of theoretical analysis to study themechanical properties of the corrugated web H-beam crane beam, and then usingANSYS software to build corrugated webs and webs H steel crane beam finite elementmodel, and analysis the linear and nonlinear two stages both under load stresscharacteristics and comparative analysis. The main contents include:(1) Study mechanical properties of corrugated web H-beam crane beam in the sameround pressure loads, The research including the crane beam bending, shear, localbearing performance. To identify the commonalities of the two crane beam anddifference. Derived the corrugated webs H steel crane beam force performancesuperiority.(2) Using ANSYS finite element software to get the eigenvalue buckling analysisof corrugated and flat web H-beam crane beam. analysis both of the critical load andbuckling mode to proved corrugated H-beam crane beam critical load value is higherthan the flat web of crane beam, but smaller than flat on the degree of deformation.(3) Using ANSYS finite element software to work out the corrugated and flat webH-beam crane beam3kinds of working conditions (Pressure due to wheel load mostunfavorable position). Using non-linear finite element analysis. comparing the twocrane beam bending, shear, local bearing ultimate bearing capacity. Proved corrugatedweb H-beam crane beam’s bearing capacity and economic advantages. The numerical results show that, corrugated web H-beam crane beam peace webs different H-shaped steel crane beam to withstand wheel pressure load on the stressdistribution and deformation, First of all, due to the the twists and turns of the webs isincreases the a flat-screen outer stiffness of the webs, Thereby improving the stability ofthe beam web; Second, corrugated web is not subjected to axial force and bendingmoment. We can do not consider the carrying capacity in the design and calculation. Thebending stress of the beam depends on the strength of the flanges Shear capacity caneven meet the conditions with the web high and thin.So the saved steel can be used toincrease the flange, effectively improve the flexural capacity of the beam. The results of this study for further understanding of the corrugated web H-beamcrane girder stress mechanism to guide its application in practical engineering has goodreference.
