Saving and intensive utilization of rural residential areas(SIURRA) is an expressrequest of The18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It also is anecessary requirement for social and economic development. In this paper, we explored thesaving and intensive utilization and spatial distribution pattern and its impacting factors (IF)on rural residential areas(RRA) in Hebei Province. We could get effective information forland resources using of SIURRA with fast and accurately in Hebei Province, andreferences for highspeed economic development of regional society and reasonabledistribution of RRA distribution pattern. In this paper, we took RRA in Hebei Province asthe research object, in order to reveal RRA space distribution pattern in Hebei Provinceand its impacting factors of SIURRA. We selected GWR model as study methods, combined the status of RRA in Hebei Province, and learned the relevant theory andresearch methods about RRA and SIURRA domestic and overseas, with136counties(cities) of Hebei Province as research units, analyzed on distribution pattern of SIURRAand IF of SIURRA. We explored the main problem about ISURRA in Hebei Province, thepreferred impacting factors about SIURRA, studied the distribution pattern of RRA, IF ofRRA and its spatial heterogeneity. The main results are as follows:1) Our study indicates that spatial distribution law found saving and intensiveutilization on rural residential areas in hebei province. We found the levels of saving andintensive utilization of rural residential areas in descending order from south to north inHebei Province. Among them, effect of saving and intensive utilization of rural residentialareas of the financial income is gradually increasing from south to north. Xingtai City isbounded to the impacts of the average land rural households on saving and intensiveutilization of rural residential areas is gradually increased from the south from the north inHebei Province, more uniform distribution, showing a certain degree of stability. Impactsof per capital investment in fixed assets on saving and intensive utilization of ruralresidential areas showed mainly as staggered distribution in Hebei Province. Impacts of percapital GDP on saving and intensive utilization of rural residential areas was decreasinggenerally from the north to the south in Hebei Province. 2) There are huge spatial heterogeneity among the four impacting factors of savingand intensive utilization of rural residential areas in Hebei Province. Our results indicatethat each increase or decrease a unit, the impact of each influencing factor on saving andintensive utilization of rural residential areas followeded sequential order in descendingorder, per capital investment in fixed assets, the average land rural households, the percapita of GDP, fiscal revenue.3) Our study indicates that GWR model improved the traditional spatial regressionmethod. It could have a good estimation on ISURRA of land resources about spatialvariability in Hebei Province, and could reveal RRA space distribution pattern.4) Our results suggests that the integrated use of GWR model could provide areference on SIURRA, and could provide decision support on SIURRA in the process ofrapid economic development in RRA in Hebei Province. At the same time, our studiesindicates that it could provide a reference for reasonable space layout, and revitalizing thestock of land, and promoting land saving and intensive use, and sustainable development.
