The Combination Of Modern Architecture With Traditional

Chinese architectural culture has a long history, architectural styles in different places have their own characteristics, and has a local Humanistic personality. The purpose of this research is to study that how the traditional architectural style can be inherited and developed in the modern concrete jungle. The research is based on some outstanding case of old city redevelopment in recent years. And then applying to the actual project design with summarized successful experience.The main line of this research is that how people can actually experience the feeling of space and architectural styles, therefore, designing an architectural style which would allow the traditional culture and modern life to co-exist in harmony and mutual integration. Through the experience of multidimensional space to raise awareness of the protection of traditional architectures and heritages of regional architectural styles. Because of its strength of character, traditional buildings would permanently be a reflection of history.Because of their social needs extensive application, modern buildings becomes a mark of the social development. Modern buildings need the soul and spirit of the traditional architectures, on the other hand, traditional architectures need to feature the utility functions of the modern architectures. The best way is to influence each other. Therefore, research on how to combine them together is imperative.
