Study On Education Architecture Of Chong Qing In Modern Times

As a meaningful type of architecture, the modern educational architecture of Chongqing stands for conflicts and fusions between Chinese and western culture, and witnesses the development of modern multi educational culture in Chongqing as well, which is an irreproducible and invaluable culture resource. With the wish to make a meaningful and valuable research in the modern educational architecture of Chongqing, the essay analyzes their developing background and procedure thoroughly .Education's development bases on social process, meanwhile, it accelerates social development. Comparing to other types of architecture, the educational architecture can more clearly reflects the politic and economical condition in one period. Basing on study on the spot and analyses, the essay construes five process of modern educational architecture, Chongqing Kaibu, Xinhai revolution, the foundation of Chongqing, anti-Japanese war.On two main lines, native architecture style and combination style between China and western counties, the essay particularly explains on architecture style of each process with typical models. Native architecture style is the mainstream of educational architecture in a long time, which stands for Chongqing traditional culture. Studying on them can grasp the feature of Chongqing educational architecture in early time so as to absorb the merits of native architecture.After Chongqing Kaibu, combination architecture style turns out along with the inbreak of foreign counties. In the early time, native architecture and foreign are not intercross, but in the later time two style introject together. While, it cannot be define clearly which is whloe traditional architecture or whole forigen architecture in mostly current educational architecture. Two style combine together and coexistent harmoniously in one architecture, but display each feature.According to complex background of anti-Japanese war, the essay expatiates on the development of Chongqing educational architecture. Meanwhile, it points out two main styles, one is designed educational architecture from original style, the other is new educational architecture. In which, the first one exists at large, the latter only is a small part, but it witnesses the flourishing of Chongqing education in war time.
