In recent years, with the continuous development of the shipbuilding industry, ship building tonnage and sizes are constantly increasing, shafting are becoming increasingly complex, and in this trend, the ship shafting also in the progressive development due to the increased flexibility of the shaft stiffness changes and ship hull, shafting demands for higher also proved a traditional school methods can not meet the requirements of ship construction shaft alignment now. So, people have been looking for a modern way of shafting, research new calculation and measurement methods become a new topic ship building industry.In this paper, domestic design, construction and testing92500DWT bulk shafting adjustment technique is as follows:Firstly, about marine propulsion shafting main components and shafting installation process, and raised issues that need attention in the shafting installation process.Secondly, the study bearing load measurement methods, numerical analysis method for the top-up to be confirmed in the whole process, shafting used in top-up methods, checking the shaft bending stress and bearing reaction forces to meet the requirements of shafting check.Finally, the use of linear programming optimization bearing displacement calculation method. By the finite element method and the transfer matrix method, the ship shafting a systematic basis, both numerical difference is small. In both hot and cold conditions were shafting alignment calculations, through on-site measured results with the theoretical results are compared, measured and calculated bearing load close to the results are within the scope of the regulatory requirements.
