| Shipbuilding industry is towards the development of large-scale gradually, high speedstern shaft and high specific pressure bearing are needed in this area. According to the olddesign requirements, the length of the bearing will be longer and longer. The alignment ofaccuracy of stern shaft and bearing is difficult to achieve. Besides, if the hull is deformed, itexacerbates the wear of the bearing, this will reduce the life of stern shaft system. Therefore,carrying out the experimental study of high specific pressure water-lubricated rubber bearinghas important significance to solve these problems.A high specific pressure water-lubricated rubber bearing test-bed is introduced in thispaper. The main research work is summarized as follows:1.The structure design of water-lubricated rubber bearing test-bed is introduced in detail,enable it to operate at high specific pressure. It is composed by a power system, a hydraulicsystem, a water circulation system, a control system and a data acquisition and analysissystem.2.The design of the loading system is also introduced at in detail, in order to design thestructure more rational, finite element analysis software is used in this paper.3.Contact strength theory is used to finish the analysis and the optimization of thetest-bed. The finite element analysis of the loading structure, bearing housings and the spindleare given, in order to determine whether they are meet the design requirements. The modalanalysis of rubber bearing is also given here, which can be used to research the vibration ofthe test-bed.4.Experiments on the water-lubricated rubber bearing are carried out on the test-bed. Inthe test, specific pressure, speed, temperature are used as a single variable. The specificpressure is from0.2MPa to1.2MPa. The analysis of the results and drawing curves have beendone for making conclusions. |
