Discharging sewage of the secondary circuit and recycling purified freshwater is themajor function of the vent water control system. According to the capacity of the vent waterevaporator and the volume of the sewage, the vent water control system controls the flow thatenters the vent water evaporator. The system is needed in the control of thermodynamicprocess. The control function of the system is mainly implemented by the control valve.Because of the defects of original control valve’s design and performance, here, thispaper adopts the motor drive to re-design the control valve of the vent water control system.The key purpose of this paper is to conduct simulation study of the new designed controlvalve in order to acquire the characters of the control valve, such as the characters ofresistance, structure, and flow.The hydraulic servo principle is applied in the new designed control valve to design thethrottle tube system. The principle of the pressure controlled by throttle tube is analyzedtheoretically, and the rationality of the throttle tube system’s design is also proved. Moreover,the zero-bit gap is also calculated theoretically.In this paper, the3D modeling software, Pro/ENGINEER, is used to establish models forthe control value of electro-dynamic water discharge. The pre-treatment software ICEM andGAMBIT are applied to divide runner grids, and the computational fluid dynamics software,FLUENT, is utilized for three and two dimension numerical simulation of the runner value.Therefore, the steady flow distribution of the control valve in different openings is gained,and those data are analyzed.Finally, two types of software, Pro/ENGINEER and ANSYS, are used to establish finiteelement models in order to analyze the intensity of the control valve. As a result, the largestpart of stress and strain on the valve body is located.
