Hydraulic poppet valve controls the hydraulic system by controlling the inner flow field. The research of the inner field is the key point. The inner flow field directly affects the valve performance. The computational fluid dynamic provides a new method to study the inner flow field. Many scholars at home and abroad do a lot of works on poppet valve using the computational fluid dynamic. However, the structure of the poppet valve is complicated, and the effects of structure are not clear, so the numerical simulation on poppet valve under different structure parameters, obtain the relationship between structure and valve performance parameters. Analyze the result and do the proper optimization of the poppet valve structure.Based on the different structural parameters of the poppet valve numerical simulation, obtain structural parameters on the performance of the poppet valve situation, combined with the simulation results, make the appropriate optimization to the poppet valve structure. It contains the following aspects in the paper: First, does the review of the literature of research for the numerical simulation of poppet valve internal and external. Previous experience in research for numerical simulation and obtain method of the research. And introduce the theory of computational fluid dynamic and software. Secondly, does an example based on CFD method, and study on pressure stabilization process of constant runout control valve. Study the inner flow field of the constant runout valve based on numerical simulation. Comparing previous result, ensure that the pressure of outlet is smooth. Last, study the inner flow field of the poppet valve through numerical simulation method and Fluent software. Obtain the result about the simulation and find out the relationship between the structure parameters and performance. Improve the structure parameters based on the result about simulation of the inner flow field, so that the flow characteristics are optimized.
