Electricity has become one of the indispensable energy resources in our life, hencethe undisputed importance of power production and transmission as well as theelectrical energy management. With the rapid development and substantial expansion ofpower grid nowadays, power plants are soaring in number with each passing day,giving rise to the growingly huge amount of data in the power system, hence theincreasing difficulty in such data analysis and management. Thus, it is certainly aHerculean task that worth thorough research in the long run to contrive a solution to theanalysis, processing and allocation management of the enormous electrical energyresources, to the comprehensive control of the numerous power distribution stations,and to the guarantee of the safe and efficient implementation of power production. It isbelieved that without an effective, scientific and intelligent management system toallocate and control such abundant distribution stations and electrical energy resources,we will surely lag behind other nations regarding the electric industry, in particular theutilization of electrical energy, which will hinder the development in power resources.Therefore, a complete, scientific and practical intelligent power grid-orientedmanagement system for power distribution automation is a must. Furthermore, thecontemporary time is witnessing an intelligence, integration and network-orientedtendency in the management of social resources as well as enterprises, organizationsand institutions. All these facts reveal that it is high time that an integrated, intelligencepower grid-oriented telecommunication network management system was developed tomanage and control the distribution stations and electrical energy.The present thesis, in the first step, introduces and reviews the domestic as well asforeign developments in terms of intelligent power grid and management of distributionautomation. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the present state of domesticmanagement of distribution stations and electrical energy resources, an integratedintelligence power grid-oriented and communication automation-based managementsystem for telecommunication in power distribution has been designed andimplemented. The thesis begins with an analysis of the overall demand of theintegrated management system for the telecommunication network in power distribution,among others the power equipment coding, data demand and business demand.Thereupon, the SOA technology has been employed to design the system architecture and construct the data platform, and all the main function modules, such as switchmanagement, EPON device management, topology management, alarm managementand monitoring management were designed in an all-round manner with demandanalysis. Subsequently, importance is attached to the description of the systemimplementation and operation, as well as the realization of the key service modules,including the system login module, data access module and web service module. Thefinal section is a description of the system test, demonstrating the condition of systemoperation and making a conclusion for the system design and operation concerned. Atpresent, the system has been put into trial operation, running in good condition.
