| With continually rising of China’s urbanization, the city’s street lighting system continues to expand, and coupled with the impact of adverse weather conditions, the street lighting system often appear such problems as insufficient power supply. Save power and improve the distribution of street lamp controller is already a problem needed to be resolved. Currently, street lighting energy efficiency in major cities is generally low. High street lamp electricity has increased the economic burden of managers. Traditional street lamps controller has a low degree of intelligence, poor communications, uneven distribution of road illumination and other issues.The topic design of wireless intelligent street lamp system uses ZigBee wireless self-organizing network technology. It can achieve intelligent control, information technology, high reliability and low cost. The system consists of three components:PC system management software, wireless street lamp gateway and wireless street light controller. Wireless street lamp gateway acts as ZigBee network coordinator, which can be placed in the control room. It has two effects, one is establishing and configuring the ZigBee network, another is connecting with the host computer via Ethernet. It can feedback network status and receive control of the host computer commands. ZigBee wireless street light controller acts as network routers, which is placed inside the poles. It can monitor and control lighting circuit voltage, current, power and other parameters. In the ZigBee network, its function is to allow other devices to join the network and multi-hop routing maintenance.Paper introduces the research background, research status and the purpose and significance. Secondly, paper analyzes the ZigBee technical standard and device type, details concerning about protocol layer structure, include physical layer, media access control layer, network layer and application layer. Thirdly, paper recommends wireless street lamp intelligent system planning, researches the network topology and routing protocol. Through the simulation analysis on NS2, the results show that the re-designed intelligent street lamp routing protocol performance better than the former two routing protocols. Then designed ZigBee RF modules based on the CC2530, and gave out the schematic diagram and PCB design considerations. Fourthly, paper recommends the ZigBee protocol stack software development and focused research on the Z-Stack protocol stack modules and operating mechanism. The author designed the startup process of ZigBee module and realized the function of serial interface API development. Finally, the system is installed in WeiNan, sum to93controller, including1wireless street lamp gateway and92wireless street lamp controller. Actual operating results show that the system is running well and with high promotional value. |
