They are mainly used in aerospace, high-speed centrifuges,rapid cooling, high pressure pumps and fans, precision machine tools and high-speedrotating machineries. The rapid development of new product design and manufacturingcapabilities is current major issues that companies need to address, which ensures thatenterprise products and design knowledge can be accumulated and reused effectively.Currently, series design, modular design, and parametric design technology ofelectromechanical products is comparatively mature and widely used. Thethree-dimensional (3D) parametric design method for high-speed motor components isimperative.Combining the actual need of enterprises with CAXA3D solid modeling softwaresystem as a platform," Development of3D parametric design system for DW100high-speed motor parts " was developed for all parts of DW100high-speed motors byusing3D parametric design method. By using the interconnection of VB programminglanguage and CAXA3D solid design system and taking Excel tool as an auxiliary, thissystem achieves some functions such as parametric generation of single part of visualDW100high-speed motor, dimension-driven and data protection. Compared with suchcharacteristics as low efficiency, long design cycles, poor product design and intuitive ofthe mean of two-dimensional CAD design, the system significantly improves the designefficiency of high-speed motor part and reduces design costs.The successful development of3D parametric design system of DW100high-speedmotor has very important significance for high-speed motor design, manufacturing, andProducts exibition, and it is also important for motor enterprise product innovation, rapiddesign and manufacturing capabilities.
