Proportional valve is the key component and the main power amplifier in electro-hydraulic proportional control techno logy, according to the input control signal,the parameters such as pressure and flow of hydraulic system could be controlled continuously and proportionally.Its strong ability to resist pollution, high control precision and fast response,with the integration of electronic and electromagnetic technology,represents the development direction of fluid control techno logy. This paper proposes a bi-directional proportional laminar flow pressure regulating valve,whose main innovative points are as follows:(1)laminar flow regulating principle based on special-shaped flow channel was put forward.(2)the special structure design of internal flow channel.(3)the beginning pressure could be adjusted,which improves the efficiency of hydraulic components.Tn the paper,structure of each component of the valve was designed in detail,the mathematic model was built to analyse its namic and static characteristics,and simulation analysis and structural parameter optimization was carried up on the environment of the software MATLAB/Simulink,finally the valve was researched by a series of experiments.The experimental results showed that the valve could meet the design index.The main tasks of each chapter in this dissertation are listed as followed,In chapter one,the development of the electro-hydraulic proportional control technology was reviewed.Then research situation of domestic and international pressure regulating valve was introduced. At last purpose and meaning of the study were proposed.In chapter two,the theory of laminar flow pressure regulating based on special-shaped flow channel was proposed,and then the simple model of the bi-directional proportional laminar flow regulating mechanism was put forward.In chapter three, structure and working principle of two different bi-directional proportional laminar flow pressure regulating valve was introduced.In chapter four, mathematic model of the valve was established,then simulation analysis and structural parameter optimization was carried up on the environment of the software MATLAB/Simulink. In chapter five,the experimental platform and test system for bi-directional proportional laminar flow pressure regulating valve was built. All parameter indexes such as zero leakage,pressure flow,static and dynamic characteristics, performance of pilot control valve were studied. The experimental results show that the valve could achieve the desired design requirements.In chapter six,the summarization of this dissertation and the prospect of this research was given.
