The two-way pressure compensation valve is the key component of the load sensitive proportional multiple directional control valves, it determines whether the whole of the load sensitive proportional multiple directional control valve’s performance is good or bad. Studying on the flow field characteristics and the dynamic characteristics of the two-way pressure compensation valve,on this basis to improve the performance of the multiple directional valve has a certain theoretical significance and practical value in engineering.This paper introduces the basic structure and working principle of the sensitive proportional multiple directional control valves and the two-way pressure compensation valve. At the same time, this paper also deduces the calculation formula of three typical throttling groove and the calculation formula of the two-way pressure compensation valve.Taking the two-way pressure compensation valve of HLPSL load sensitive proportional multiple directional control valve as a prototype, using Pro-E software to build the simplified model of three dimensional flow field and using GAMBIT to divide its grid. Using computational fluid dynamics method to simulate the flow filed model of the two-way pressure compensation valve, getting the velocity vector distribution and the stress nephogram of the valve.Based on two-way pressure compensation valve’s pressure cloud image analysis, finding out the main parts of the negative pressure zone, at the same time, improving the valve’s structure of its corresponding position in order to reduce the generation of negative pressure zone, and then to build the flow field model, simulating and analyzing its stress distribution and the velocity vector distribution, proving that the advantage of the improved structure.Using AMEsim to build the modeling of the two-way pressure compensation valve, simulating and analyzing the two-way pressure compensation valve’s response characteristics of different parameters, finding out the factors that affect the valve dynamic response characteristics by changing the parameters to find a set of parameters that can make the valve’s dynamic response characteristics more perfect, at the same time, simulating and analyzing the spool speed curve along with the change of time, the change of displacement with time curve and the valve core force changing with time curve under these parameters.
