Bridge detection is the preliminary work for bridgemaintaining, repairing an d reinforcing. And it’s also the reliable foundation to determinethe feasibility and correctness of thebridge servicing and reinforcing scheme. Detection bridg e’s strength, static and dynamic analysis of the bridge in the load test conditi ons, and then by a further theoretical calculations and analysis can determine the bridge site of injury, the severity of the development trends and their imp act on the carrying capacity of the bridge, the bridge reinforcementprovide sp ecific technical information and renovation design. This paper, based on the m odern bridge designtheory,finite element method, random vibration, vibration te st and analysis techniques, summarizing the bridge detection method, presents a maintenance program after studyingthe detection method of Huai River Brid ge, comparing and analyzing the measured results and the theoretical values o n the basis of summarizing the detection methods of bridges.Mainly taken the following aspects:1.Confirm the status of the bridge primarily by the appearance inspection of the Huainan HuaiHe Bridge.2.Detect the Huainan HuaiHe Bridge physically, Including theconcrete stre ngth, the depth of carbonation, the thickness of rebar protective layer, the bri dge linetype, to get the accurate parameters of the current state of the bridge, providing a basis for later maintenance scheme.3.Con duct the static load test on the major stress areas of the beams ace ording to the results of theoretical calculations.Use the testing truck to make t he internal forces, produced by the test load at the major control cross sectio n, reaching or closing to thestandard design load value.Testthe static strain(the medium loading and the unbalance loading) and the static deflection(the medi um loading and the unbalance loading) of the control cross sections.Assessthe actual working status and carrying capacity of the structure.4.The stress analysis of the bridge is complex under thedynamic load con ditions. So the data calculated from theoretical analysis is hard matches the a ctual data.In order to determine the actual loading state and displacement of t he bridgeunder the dynamic load conditions, we did moving vehicle testing an d braking testing separately.According to the time-history curve graph of the c ontrol cross sections in different conditions, we analyzed and determinedthe vi bration characteristicsunder forced vibration and natural pulsation, and the dyn amic characteristics under the vehicle loadsof the bridge structure,providing a basis for later maintenance scheme.5. We use the bridges structural analysis program MIDAS/Civil/2006to establish the finite element model of the main bridge of Huainan City, Hu ai River Bridge panel, check the right section flexural strength of the structur e at the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state two different conditi ons to judge the Main Bridge panel whether meeting regulatory requirements.6. Through the detecting we draw some conclusions, made clear the brid ge main existing problems and their causes and given some advices of the m aintenance of the bridge.Big step into the bridge carrying capacity detection is also no uniform st andards and norms, this article by Huainan Huaihe River Bridge Road bridge disease detection, analysis, and reinforcement of, on the one hand, this bridge proposed a reasonable, cost-effective detectionassessment program, on the oth er hand, also play a reference for other bridge inspection and maintenance an d evaluation.
