China Electric Power Survey is mainly used in engineering measurement and GPS, electric power engineering measurement is time-consuming, laborious. The UAV aerial and satellite remote sensing technology is the electric power survey technology developed in recent years, has the advantage of high resolution, real-time. With the rapid development of society of our country economy, demand for new survey technology is more and more urgent. The new technology of man-machine aerial and satellite remote sensing measurement, provides new technical support for electric power survey. At present, the UAV aerial and satellite remote sensing technology has been widely used in China’s topography is simple in the eastern region, but in the southwest China, complex terrain, climate conditions are unevenly distributed, rainy weather, the conventional aerial and satellite remote sensing measurement technology is restricted, while the UAV aerial survey technology can solve the above problems, can get high resolution images.This paper describes the common methods of survey technology for transmission line. The UAV aerial technology and GIS platform used in electric power, the UAV aerial survey data as the data source to establish the GIS database design, detailed system for electric power geographic information system structure, interface, database, combined with C#.NET and ArcGIS Engine to develop two times, to achieve the main function of data management, system spatial query, spatial analysis, surface analysis, to facilitate information management and analysis, provide auxiliary decision, bring new means for electric power survey.In YuQian220kV power transmission project as an example, by means of aerial survey data without acquiring aerial man-machine technology, realizes the analysis of information acquisition and management of electric power survey data, obtained better effect, and has a certain practical value for Electric Power Survey and decision analysis.
