Through studying the example gardens, the paper concludes the applications ofguidelines on planting in painting theories in gardening, and generalizes the principles ofplanting through designing.Firstly, the article draws on the discourses of plant distributing in garden theories andpainting theories, and studies the choices of plants, the layout of plants and the relationshipbetween plants and hills, buildings, roads and people. Secondly, the article tries to work outhow to distribute plants like drawings when gardening. Then, we will talk about the frames ofpainting conception, the way that the garden owners appreciate drawings and gardens, theanalyses of remarkable frame scenes through spatial scale analyses. Finally, the article alsotries to figure out the principles of planting like drawings in painting theories, and tries toobtain methods by design in different occasions with different frames. When the frame is bigenough, the sight distance, sight area should be introduced to deliberate the master plans andsections. When the frame is small, different gardening elements need to be well organized tosearch for all kinds of possibilities.
