In the long history of thousands of years in China,the classical gardens,as an important part of Chinese traditional culture,stand out for their unique beauty and charm.As another field of art,traditional Chinese landscape painting has experienced its germination,development and then occupied the mainstream of the painting circle,shining in the history of painting.Ming and Qing jiangnan landscape is closely connected with the relation of the Chinese traditional landscape painting and Chinese traditional landscape painting in the process of formation and development,will be painting in the garden artistic conception,theory of landscape painting as park,built in the formation of landscape aesthetic consciousness,layout of management,the park owner the expression of feelings,etc,has played a very important role.The gardens in the south of the Yangtze river during the Ming and Qing dynasties were as picturesque as a poem.Instead of directly planting natural things in the gardens,the gardens were created through the consideration of beauty and the refinement of scenery.Firstly,this paper analyzes and summarizes the aesthetic characteristics and tastes of the two arts by analyzing the historical background,aesthetic factors and development sequence of jiangnan gardens and traditional Chinese landscape paintings in the Ming and qing dynasties.Secondly,it analyzes the ideological sources,creative ideas and social functions of the two art creations from the perspectives of Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,painting theory and geomancy,and understands their artistic characteristics from the arrangement of landscape objects in gardens and the artistic expression of landscape paintings.Finally,through the discussion of the internal correlation between the gardens in the south of the Yangtze river and the traditional Chinese landscape painting in the Ming and qing dynasties,the feelings of literati and their love for garden life in the gardens in the south of the Yangtze river in the Ming and qing dynasties are understood.This is exactly the interpretation of the ancient people's self-culture in the image,and also the specific embodiment of literati's high thought in the landscape painting.
