Landscape-painting was transformed greatly in Song dynasty. During this period, bianjiao landscape-painting became the mainstream instead of panoramic landscape-painting. Bianjiao landscape-painting could be seen as the "cropping" of panoramic landscape-painting from both size and content. After "cropping", painters used "real" and "blur" techniques to make it finish. The changes happened in landscape-painting reflected Song people’s perception of landscape scenarios changed from overall to local. This led the constructing of landscape to pay attention to details. Changes both in landscape-painting and landscape-constructing were affected by the way of landscape-writing. |
