It is a typical hot summer and cold winter region in Hangzhou, China. Winter heating and summer cooling is required in this region and the energy consumption is huge. In this article, through analyzing the present situation of energy consumption and the influence factors of energy consumption, the impact of resident behavior on energy consumption was found, and deep analysis with personnel behavior in the city has been conducted to extract the typical air conditioning behavior patterns.Firstly, through a large sample of household surveys involved in each area of Hangzhou in one year,683copies of valid questionnaires was collected. It is analyzed in the residential building energy consumption situation of winter and summer, indoor thermal environment and typical patterns of behavior in detail.Based on the survey questionnaire to make use of SPSS statistical analysis software for data processing, the factors that affect the building energy consumption has carried on multivariate analysis of variance. Results show that the personnel structure, temperature value and the switching behavior significantly impact on energy consumption of air conditioning, and the influence of the building ages, building types, construction area to the total energy consumption was the most not significant.Then,18families in the same community were selected as case analysis. Results show that even in the same enclosure structure, building orientation, close building area, close family personnel structure, the annual electricity consumption in the transitional season between the family is basically equal, but there will be bigger difference in power consumption in winter and summer caused by the different resident behavior, and it can be further concluded that personnel behavior have a significant impact on residential building energy consumption of air conditioning in the region. Secondly analyzed the air conditioning use time in winter for seven typical case, it was found that using time is different between families, and it can explain the differences between the home use behavior lead to differences in energy consumption. In addition, the residential energy consumption simulation software DeST-h was used in the region to simulating the air conditioning energy consumption of a household. Results show that the calculated energy consumption according to the specification is higher than the actual energy consumption; It should be as much as possible to improve the set temperature of air conditioning in summer in order to achieve high energy saving effect on the premise of ensure the thermal comfort for indoor personnel; After input quantitative parameter value of personnel behavior, simulation result is more close to the real energy consumption, personnel behavior impact’on building energy consumption simulation need to introduce into the software, as the necessary condition of simulating, makes energy consumption simulation result more close to the actual energy consumption.Lastly, embarked from the statistical analysis, the typical air conditioning use behavior patterns in this region was extracted, to laid a foundation for studying the effect of all kinds of behavior model of building energy consumption level. This paper adopts the synthesis method of the household survey questionnaire, empirical research and energy consumption simulation has carried on the qualitative and quantitative analysis on the behavior impact on residential energy consumption. The research has made a contribution for the future research work on personnel behavior and energy consumption...
