The Redevelopment Strategy Of Industrial Parks In Yuhang District Of Hangzhou City

The redevelopment of industrial parks is unfolding in China and even the whole world, it is an important part of city renewal and development of local industry. In the background of social transformation and upgrading, this paper put some industrial parks of Zhejiang Hangzhou Yuhang District as an example, summarizes the main problems of industrial parks:(1) inefficient exploit of land;(2) the lack of land shortage;(3) the low industrial level;(4) the mix spatial layout;(5) the shortage of public supporting services;(6) the poor construction quality;(7) the shabby living environment. These problems are closely related to the fact that the land in industrial parks is universal rental and illegal used. And, through the summary of previous studies, I found that local governments are indent to guide industrial parks’ redevelopment without theoretical basis. Obviously, it is an effective way to the redevelopment of industrial parks, whether to build the industrial cluster, or to promote urbanization. The question is how to choose?This paper take the perspective of both urbanization and industrial clusters, classify the target function of the industrial parks according to two factors of size and location:comprehensive function, production function and non production function. Then according to these three kinds of target function, I sorted three strategy of the redevelopment:industry cluster, the fusion of production and urban, city update. And furthermore, put out the specific ways of the first two strategies from the following four aspects:the perfection of functions, the optimization of spatial structure, the uplifting of the environmental quality, and the transformation and upgrading of industry, which gives out a whole picture of the reborn of industrial parks.
