Boasting of heat-resisting, wear-resisting, flexible opening and reliably sealing, ceramic cartridge is widely used as a sanitary product in the faucet. With greater market demands for cartridge, enterprises’ improving competiveness rests with the improvement of the current manual assembly via ceramic cartridge assembly automation. This paper, with the combination of the theory of modular design and engineering design, aims at module division of ceramic cartridge automatic assembly equipment and refined design of key module, and then by combining the formworks, developing the ceramic cartridge automatic assembly equipment which will meet the companies’meet. Meanwhile, the design of valve lever, circlip and sealing gasket from ceramic cartridge is completed with the design method for assembly automation product. This paper mainly solves the following relevant key technical issues.1. Solve the problem of front and back screening of the fixed ceramic disc. Also, the technological problem about the circumferential precise positioning of the fixed ceramic disc is solved based on the machine vision technology. Finally, the function of precise automatic assembly of the fixed ceramic disc is realized.2. Solve the technological problem about the fast automatic assembly between valve lever and small O-ring without damage. And the related technologies results of no damage support O-ring and fast automatic assembly is achieved.3. Achieve the privies positioning of the valve body in the circumferential direction. And the technological problem of valve body and large O-ring fast automatic assembly is solved.4. Solve the problem of overlapping and falling of circlip in the feeding process and achieve the function of automatic feeding and automatic assembly with the assist of finite element simulation analysis confirming the required pressure of assembled circlip.
