Separation electrical connector are wildly used in the missile system and rocket system, its separation reliability is very important to the objects, while, researchers have not yet carried out systematic research on the reliability of the separation electrical connector, and are not very clear about its failure modes and mechanism behind them. So, in this master dissertation took the YF6-57electrical connector as research subject, analyzed the failure modes and their mechanism, and built the reliability mathematic model of the separation connector, provided fundamental theory basis for the improvement of separation reliability of the separation electrical connector. The main work of this dissertation is as follows:In chapter one, described the background, purpose and significance of the research, introduced the history of the reliability engineering shortly and the current situation of failure analysis methods, analyzed the current situation and existing problem of the research on the reliability of separation electrical connector, and then proposed the objects and work of this research.In chapter two, analyzed the structure, function, material, movement, force and work situation of the connector; analyzed the movement and force of separation mechanism; aligned with force analysis studied the failure modes and mechanism of the separation electrical connector. In chapter three, analyzed the structure of the contact components; simplified the contact structure to equivalent beam based on the semi-rigid theory; then calculated the M-θr equation based on the Timoshenko beam theory; finally built the mathematic model of the contact force and the deformation of the contact structure.In chapter four, analyzed the factors that will influence the contact force from mathematic model in chapter three, chosen probability statistics method to analyze the factors above by studying the manufacturing process of the contact components; built the probability distribution of the sizes of the contact components by statistics method; then used Monte Carlo method calculate the contact force based on the statistics distribution in MATLAB environment; analyzed the results and fitted the probability distribution of the contact force, designed experiment to justify the simulation result, and finally got the probability distribution of the contact force..In chapter five, analyzed the install of the contact components, deduced the whole contact force of the electrical connector.In chapter six, analyzed the reaction force of the spring and the factors affect the function of the spring by statistics method, built the probability distribution model of the spring force, and finally gave the separation reliability model of the electrical connector and calculated the separation reliability of the YF6-57electrical connector.In chapter seven, summarized the work of this research and proposed expectation for the future research.
