This paper researches the natatorium of JiangXi Moderrn Polytechnic College with the concept of green development, comprehensively analysing the building features and energy consuming system and exploring energy-saving strategy in order to provide a reference for the designation of new energy-saving natatorium. The roof of a natatorium has the special advantage of long span, high-altitude, large space and complex process, which are different from civil buildings, determining that the natatorium can take the chance to save energy more effectively. This paper take the example of the natatorium in JiangXi Moderrn Polytechnic College, discussing the architectural design, inclosure construction design, HVAC and water-savings for the purpose to give advices of energy-saving strategies and techniques.Firstly, this paper takes the software TH-BECS2010developed by Brownsville Technology Co. Ltd. of Shenzhen City to calculate and analyse the building form, structure, roof structure and exterior practices of the natatorium in JiangXi Moderrn Polytechnic College. The analysis report shows that the construction site, style and inclosure of the natatorium adhering to quite good ideas and techniques, which meet the demand of national energy policy and successfully make energy-saving rate of50.37%. Secondly, this paper takes the software SELECTION V3.5.0developed by POOLPAK Co. to calculate and analyse air condition, dehumidification and heating equipment. The analysis report turns out to be that heat and moisture condition can be improved by30%with heat pump equipments. Thirdly, this paper researches water treatment process finding out that the countercurrent circulation mode can achieve energy-saving effect by reducing75%heating work of recycled water.
