Pitch variable control is key to large-scale grid connected wind turbines. During operation, output electrical power would be kept qualified and reliable only with accurate and fast pitch variable control. Hydraulic actuation is widely used in pitch variable control. It makes great sense to conduct research work on the dynamic characteristic and control property of the hydraulic system.Several kinds of energy are involves in the whole pitch variable system, and bond-graph method shows huge potential in dealing with such a complicated system. Thus bond-graph method is applied in the research work in the paper after a principle analysis of the hydraulic circuits. In the following, simulation work is done based on MATLAB/Simulink. According to the practical situation for turbine, fuzzy-PID control tactics is combined to improvement the performance of the control system.With a deeper consideration of the complexity of the hydraulic system, co-simulation work based on hydraulic simulation software DSHplus and Simulink is conducted.
