After nearly thirty years of economic development, industrial production enterprises more widely distributed, large enterprise privatization is becoming more and more demand for heavy steel structure production workshop is becoming more and more big. Large industrial manufacturing industry has been developing, it has to give and matching heavy steel structure industrial workshop to meet the production requirements; Heavy steel structure industry workshop of salient features are:height, column spacing, its internal crane lifting weight is large, this requires structure design engineer in the process of design and comprehensive consideration of these factors, to ensure the safety of the building and its economy.In this paper, after the study of the theory and software calculation has the following several aspects:(1) according to the workshop design conditions, build different structural system, design and analysis, the economic and reasonable structure system is put forward. In terms of structure calculation model, the modeling of rationality to get accurate results. The multi-span heavy-duty workshop model by finite element analysis (fea) can be used in a flat structure, using spatial analysis. Spatial analysis takes into consideration the time components such as space effect and the main steel frame work, good economy. Flat structure model analysis is simple, high efficiency(2) the amount of steel as the evaluation standard, to put forward the structure of the form, the steel weight of the area, the economic analysis of column grid layout. The choice of structural system to comprehensively consider the various factors, the multi-span heavy-duty workshop is equipped with large tonnage crane, component design node priority fresh-from-stats-class connect, the framework of a supporting structure system.(3) shall be carried out in accordance with the current design code, different structure calculation and analysis, through comparative analysis on the economic and reasonable component cross section form and section size.(4) design node structure form, force analysis, put forward the economic and reasonable way of node structure and design method.At the end of the paper gives the background of steel structure engineering design drawings and node details.
