In recent years, our country’s infrastructure construction has increased rapidly with thedevelopment of economy, but its security situation is serious. In order to strengthen thesupervision of construction safety management and protect people’s life and property safety,our country has promulgated a series of laws and regulations which are related with theproduction safety and technical standards, including the "Basic norms for work safetystandardization of enterprises"(AQ/T9006-2010). Due to the characteristics of constructionthemselves, construction enterprises have a lack of investment on the standardization of safety.Therefore it is necessary to further strengthen the supervision and management ofconstruction industry to develop the safety standardization.In this paper, we point out the problems existing in the safety standardization ofconstruction industry through an on-the-spot investigation combining with the characteristicsof construction safety management, and the necessity to carry out the safety standardization isfurther elaborated.An innovation of evaluation method on the safety standardization is presented. Weprovide a comprehensive evaluation model with three levels based on the situation ofon-the-spot investigation as well as the relevant literature on safety assessment andconsultation on experts of construction units. We apply the fuzzy mathematic to theassessment of construction safety standardization, the level and score are provided for judgingthe degree of emphasis on safety standardization of enterprises.Non-structural fuzzy decision support system (NSFDSS) based on multi-objectivedecision criteria is presented in this paper. NSFDSS is an effective evaluation method to solvecomplex engineering problems, it can use semantic operators in multi-objective comparisonseven under the condition that inaccurate information is available. By using NSFDSS, thefactors of construction safety standardization are analyzed and compared with each other to give the priority and score, which can largely save costs and improve resource utilization.This evaluation method enables the enterprises to evaluate the safety standardized situationsof multiple projects.
