After entering the automobile society, Growth of China’s automobile was into accelerated, staggering growth in car ownership, the circumstance of car use further deterioration, traffic accidents remains high, attention of vehicle safety is paid abroad to society. Security of automobile will directly or indirectly reduce personal injury, or death, severe impact on road safety. Currently the method is mainly used to evaluate the safety assessment by NCAP, the relevant parts of the safety testing and technical regulations, but they are so sporadic, or evaluate the section of vehicle safety.This article is based on the test vehicle regulations, C-NCAP data and research results at native and abroad. First, starting from the car of its own security, respectively, depth research of vehicle active safety and passive safety; On this basis, through fuzzy mathematical methods, to establish vehicle active safety membership function of the main factors, in order to determine the active safety of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model; while using neural network tool for automobile passive safety simulation prediction and evaluation, to establish vehicle passive safety evaluation model, getting the value of the car crash test scores; summary, to create the comprehensive car safety evaluation model; finally, using MATLAB software for software development, to make the operational model interface, when enter the relevant parameters, the evaluation of results can be obtained in the blank. This paper has evaluated six different cars through this comprehensive evaluation model, the result of evaluation coincide to traffic accident rate of car which provided by a large domestic auto insurance company, it verify the accuracy of the model as well. Therefore, the automotive safety comprehensive evaluation model is effectively and accurately.
