With the development of public transport and the recent bus accidents continue to occur, bus drivers as an important participant in public transport, have been taken more and more attention to their all aspects of the physical and mental by the community that can they guarantee the normal and safe work. The research status and research achievements of this thesis is based on the domestic and international scholars.I evaluate mental fatigue in Chengdu bus driver which is a special group and establish a evaluation system of subjective questionnaire combined with the objective measurements in order to explore the question, suggestions and methods of problem-solving in the bus driver mental fatigue. The main research results are as follows:(1) Evaluation of the survey data is processed by using1/3standard and weighted criteria that I get the status of mental fatigue in different age, driving experience and gender of the bus drivers in Chengdu and effectively reduce errors by using a single subjective evaluation method.(2) Through ergonomic experiments, I select three bus lines of Chengdu and take full account of the major psychological problems faced in practical work.I select three important indicators of mental fatigue. They are response, flicker fusion frequency and force early attention allocation which are measured before and after the peak. Application of correlation before and after the rush hour is significanted for the bus drivers, and different age, driving experience and gender between different indexes are analyzed by SPSS software with a conclusion.(3) On the three lines selected, other factors are basically the same, only the number of stations and traffic lights. Control study was performed on No.11bus, No.59bus and No.61bus. There is no significant difference between the No.59bus and No.61bus, but the station number and the number of traffic lights are more than the No.11bus. It can get the contacts between bus stops and the three mental fatigue indexes.(4)Based on that the there is no correlation between the three indicators, I use the1/3standard evaluation method of Maslach to evaluate the data on the three indicators to get the mental fatigue serious degree from the experimental data.(5) Combined conclusions with the thesis I propose meaningful construction and methods to improve the bus driver’s mental fatigue.
