| This paper, in combining with theoretical research on dynamic compaction in foundation consolidation from home and abroad, has made comparatively comprehensive summary and analysis on the dynamic compaction in foundation consolidation. Nevertheless, attribute to numerous influencing and uncertain factors, the consolidation effect shall be tested and analyzed before each time of dynamic compaction on the foundation. Previously, the treated foundations of airports are mainly made of gravel, weak soil, broken stones, with little attention, either home or abroad, paid to treatment of the large-sized silty clay foundations of airports. Therefore, this paper, with the silty clay foundation of the in-construction Gansu Longnan Chengzhou Civil Airport as basis, attempts to test the test results of single-point compaction and filed filling and compaction, analyze the filed deformation and the changes of the characters of the foundation soil before and after the compaction, and employ finite element to carry out numerical simulation on single-point compaction, so as to further ascertain the consolidation effect of the dynamic compaction.The main contents of this paper are:(1) Through the analysis and research on the dynamic compaction, on the engineering geological conditions obtained from field investigation, on advantages and disadvantages and application scope of three basic methods (Vibration rolling, impact rolling, and dynamic compaction) applied in foundation treatment of the mountainous area based on the design requirements and construction conditions, on ascertaining the dynamic compaction as the optimal method that shall be applied in foundation treatment, while the vibration rolling for the filling.(2)The outdoor tests and indoors numerical simulation show that the dynamic compaction is a better method for foundation treatment, and it is feasible in consolidation of the silty clay foundation.(3)This paper also attempts to ascertain the rational parameters of the foundation treatment of this airport through research on dynamic compaction in foundation treatment, on single-point compaction tests on the original foundation, on filling and rolling, on numerical simulation on single-point compaction on the original foundation, and in accordance with sizes of the pounders and the construction technologies applied on the field construction, as well as the rational requirements of engineering economy. During the dynamic compaction of the foundation, the rational consolidation parameters of compaction capacity2000kN·m, dot pitch4m shall be applied in the compaction of the airport. |
