The test equipment for electronic vehicle is a device used for testing high powermodule HP1/HP2and motor driver by testers and maintenance staff. This equipmentmakes it possible to handle the imperious demands to monitor the performance andfunctioning status of the HP1/HP2motor driver. The entire system appliesSTMicroelectronics’s STM32family microcontrollers as the core, combining with theperipheral circuit design. Equipment can be connected to the PC, on which testingprocedures, contents and other testing data can be configured, display the test resultsdirectly. Intellectually, the machine can finish a variety of test contents, such aswhether motor driver module HP1/HP2and driver work normally, judge if shortcircuit and breaker happen in respective parts and the status of drive signal output aswell as abnormality protection. After the test, the data collected will be shown on thePC screen in windows about whether the data is correct and an alarm will be givenwhen abnormalities occur.Test equipment for high power motor driver is mainly used for research anddevelopment testing phase to develop and check e lectric vehicle motor driver. Thesystem can find welding errors and components damage timely and accurately inIGBT module HP1/HP2and driver circuit. The test machine can guarantee motor anddriver operating normally. The system consists of three major modules——theinjection module, the testing module and the control module, with these functions wecan achieve the desired test targets. Between different units, an isolatedcommunication system is applied to interconnect. It can prevent the local short-circuitinfluencing the entire test system. We have two methods, computer instructions andkeys, to make the master unit to send test commands. Injection unit and testing unitcollaborative complete related signals injection and test. Test unit also need to uploadand analysis data. According to the upload data master unit will determine whether toactive alarm, as well, transmit the corresponding data to PC for display. For mechanical system design, we use Solidworks simulate loading andunloading. The system we use here are the microcontrollers of SMT32family and itssoftware counterparts are compiled with IAR EWARM. We apply visual studio2008to compile the PC interface, and interface module uses built-in controls.At present, the system is already available and promise well, the expected testsare basically achieved. The test equipment has a bright prospect, if widely applied toelectric vehicle development process, it can not only save large sum of money,radically reduce labor intensity, but also greatly improve the automation of motordriver tests for the company who use it.
