The cam components mainly depend on the contour line to control the movement of camfollower type closely contact. Because of the significant impact on the cam contour accuracyperformance, the accuracy of cam profile turn towards increasingly sophisticated detection,intelligent, high-efficient direction. Facing the problem of frequent replacement of the probeduring the detection, conversion algorithm between different models of the probe was launched.So that theoretical research in improving domestic cam detection efficiency was promotedfurther and optimization studies of cam profile, especially conjugate cam profile optimizationwere explored. Meanwhile, due to conjugate cam mechanism little research into theoptimization of complex contours, he research on comprehensive evaluation of conjugate camperformance and profile optimization methods of conjugate cam were carried out deeply. Thedetails are as follows:1. The conversion algorithm of corner-liter among different types of roller probe isresearched. When cam detection device measured cams, the choice of the probe matched thetested cam often decided by the requirements that choose the same type and shape of the probecoincided with the design principles in the testing process. Therefore, the frequent replacementof probe reduced the detection efficiency. The principle of reversion and relative velocityinstantaneous center were used respectively as the heoretical basis. The converted prerequisiteand occasions were taken into account of the conversion algorithm. According to the actual camdetection principle, the conversion models of different roller probe between corner and risewere studied up. The conversion algorithm improved the detection efficiency of the camdevices by test results.2. The conjugated degree of conjugate cam model was set up. The conjugate cam profilediscrete point data was reversed solving based on the data of conjugated degree. Since thecomplex particularity of conjugate cam mechanism, there is no uniform standard precisionabout the testing evaluation criteria of the conjugate cam product after grinding. To this end,this paper defined the parameter about conjugate degrees.The parameter can evaluate thefacilitating conditions between main and auxiliary cam of conjugate cam mechanismcomprehensively. Meanwhile, the conjugate degree model of conjugate cam was built. On thisbasis, reversed conjugate cam mechanism outline discrete data in the case of the knownconjugated degree of conjugate cam. And error analysis of point to point was studied so that aclear deviation of the specific location and specific deviation values were ensured. Informationon the accuracy of the conjugate cam error analysis and error compensation was provideddirectly. That would lay the foundation for the next phase of conjugate cam profile research.3. Optimization of conjugate cam profile. The factors of conjugation degree and camprofile error were analyzed respectively to research the affection of conjugate cam overallperformance. Error compensation of point to point can be optimized to achieve conjugate cam profile accuracy. As the conjugated performance cam mechanism was mainly affected by theconjugate degree and cam profile accuracy error, the conjugated degree error and the main-subcam contour error were studied respectively to quantify the overall performance of conjugatecam mechanism. When the cam profile optimization was explored, the optimal balance betweenconjugated degree and cam profile error was built. The test analysis found that the sacrifice ofconjugate degree factor would be more conducive to enhancing performance conjugate cammechanism under the same conditions.In summary, this study concluded theoretical study and practical verification deeply whichis to improve the efficiency of detection equipment, optimization of conjugate cam profile andperformance evaluation.
