The Effects Of Social Capital And Contractuai Mechanism On Coop Erative Performance

We are living in an era where political and economic change happens every minute of the day, in a sense the project to become one of the main ways of the orga-nizational work. Though the organizations with inconsistent cultures, discrepant pro-fessional background and target stem from different fields,’fragment’, which a project completed involved in these different organizations, is a dominating characteristics of the project. Scholars have pointed out that the relationship between these organiza-tions is usually tends to be confrontational and inefficiencies. For a long time, how to promote the better cooperation between the parties in order to improve the project performance is the problems faced by the researchers of the project management and practitioners. Academics have been used to concentrate on the contract governance and relationship governance for the attention of the project performance, and they have carried on the beneficial exploration and produced a large number of relevant literature. Now there are still many scholars pay close attention to the contract and relationship. The traditional measurement of project performance is to take three es-sential factors:time, cost and quality. With the development of research and the actual situation of the research, the relationship satisfaction joined in the performance evalu-ation standards of routine. Here, we propose that project cooperative performance to replace the project performance, to inspect the satisfaction of project cooperation on project completion and the cooperation relationship of the project participants.Based on the situational factors in the rapid development of various disciplines, some scholars turn out to find the factors affecting the success of the project from the perspective of social network. Since it was put forward, social capital has caught the concern of the scholars in various fields because of its strong explanatory power. The access to social capital advantage information, knowledge and capital and other re-sources, has great promoting effect to the promotion of project performance. Research of social capital in the project performance shows that the success of project man-agement can be extended from economics to the field of sociology. There are few ex-isting literature on social capital and the theoretical research of project performance. On account of the perspective of social capital, this article puts forward a relatively complete theoretical model, and has carried on the empirical research.Based on the personnel questionnaire of more than200construction projects of users, survey and design unit, supervision unit and contractor in Anhui province, this study investigates the social capital, contract mechanism and the relationship between the project cooperative performance. The main conclusions are the following:social capital structure, relation and cognitive dimensions can affect the project cooperation positively; relational dimension plays an intermediary role in structure dimension, cognitive dimension in the process of the impact on the project cooperation perfor-mance; contract mechanism plays a regulatory role in relational dimension, cognitive dimension influence on the project cooperative performance.
