Lighting plays an important role in people’s work and life, a good lighting environment canimprove people’s lives, improve work efficiency. The traditional lighting control system withmanual control which is ineffective. In Intelligent lighting control system, brightness can achievereal-time adjustment and systematic and automated lighting management by means of intelligentcontrol and new lighting fixtures. It can taking advantage of natural light to reach the maximumenergy savings and longer life of the illumination lamp.This paper presents a lighting control system indoor based on power line carrier communication(PLCC) according to the characteristics of indoor lighting indoor In order to change the variousdrawbacks of traditional way of lighting control, realize the automatic and simple management oflighting system, also save the energy, and make full use of the existing power line resource. Thissystem has the advantages of simple operation and easy implementation. In addition, it has thedimmer and the timing switch and historical query function. Power line carrier communicationtechnology is a communication line off the shelf, without the need for additional erection, andconvenient construction, saving cost and other advantages. However, the power line is used forconveying power rather than for communication lines, so it brings many technical problems forcommunication. In this paper, a simple channel models is established through the analysis of thevarious properties of the low-voltage power line channel communication. On the basis of theoreticalanalysis, light control system indoor based on power line carrier communication technology isdesigned, mainly includes the design of hardware circuit, communication protocol and interface ofPC. Hardware circuit is the power line carrier communication module using PL3106chip anddimming control circuit is based on PT4115. Communication protocol with a four layer structure ofthe protocol is designed based on a existing protocol. The hardware circuit and the host computercan communicate through RS232serial port. PC interface is written using MFC, to control theswitch, diming and timing of each lighting node each node.Finally, the dimming control system designed based on the scheme above is tested byexperiment. The test results show that the system achieves the high success rate of communicationrealizes the function demand and can achieve the preset performance index. The system is reliable,and has good practical value and market prospect.
