| With the acceleration of urbanization process in China, the scale of the street lamp has increased more and more rapidly. Street lights bring much convenience to night activities, but have lost too much power as well, how to save electricity of city lighting has become a research hotspot. In order to achieve raising efficiency and saving energy of street lighting, this paper designs a kind of intelligent street lamp monitoring system consists of communications networkã€monitoring center and monitoring terminal, aims at implementing the intelligent monitoring function.Firstly, a communication network of monitoring system adopts GPRS communication conbined with power line carrier communication is designed, and monitoring commands is designed base on Modbus protocol. Using the communication network, monitoring center can establish a communication connection with each monitoring terminal and realize monitoring function.Secondly, in order to control and manage the entire system, monitoring center is designed by MCGS configuration software. The monitoring terminal is designed based on PL3106 chip, monitoring terminal can execute low voltage power carrier communicationã€electronic ballast control and monitoring data collection function.Finally, the system is simulated in the laboratory. In the simulation system, both communication function and electronic ballast control function are verified through experiment, experiment result have testified the feasibility of intelligent street lamp monitoring system. |
