Interlocking Real-Time Data Simulation Of Shunting Monitoring System

Shunting Monitoring System is the combination control system based on computer integration by using computer technology, train control technology and communication technology,is the comprehensive application to ensure the safety of shunting operations. By using the Shunting Monitoring System, the station management department will reduce the probability of accidents effectively in shunting operations, such as conflict, derailed and squeeze turnout, and the rail transport will be safe and smooth. Currently, Shunting Monitoring System is widely used in most of marshalling yards or railway stations of large and medium sized industrial and mining enterprises in our country.The interlocking data of shunting monitoring system mainly depends on station computer interlocking system: But in practical application in the railway station, the structure of interlocking system is complicated and tedious, and the high costs of construction and maintenance make it not conducive to be used in personnel training and simulation testing. It is known that the control system which centered on the computer runs base on the software programming data, and present through computer simulation. The core functions of the Interlock Data Real-time Simulation System in this paper is simulation of computer interlock system, and achievement of operation and monitor function of real-time data in shunting monitoring system.The Interlock Data Real-time Simulation System in this paper is divided into two parts of interlocking control and operation display. The interlock control section use VC++6.0programming language, and the operation display section use Delphi7.0software for simultaneous display operation by drawing. The simulation system will achieve main functions such as the collection of station interlock data information, controlling and monitoring of station physical information, real-time monitoring of approach building process, and so on, to emulate the presentation of shunting approach, approach locking, signal remain opening, railway traffic simulation and approach cancellation. The simulation system will contribute to the simple short-term training of operators, and help to reduce the workload of testing and validation, achieve the indoor simulation tests.
