| With China’s industrial development, industrial equipment is developing gradually toward large-scale and over-load. Vehicles carrying heavy equipment through the road will occupy road space and hold up road traffic, such as the aspect of reinforcing the bridge, martial law of the road and so on. At the same time, the safety stability of the transport process will also be affected by road conditions. Selecting the route is a precondition for Heavy-Cargo Highway Transportation, because a reasonable route is very important for decreasing transportation cost, increasing the safety and stability and reducing the impact on road traffic.Now there is no means that widely used the computer analysis software to quickly determine an optimal route planning model in our country. Based on this, this paper will study on the problem of how to plan an optimal path comprehensively and systematically. Based on ArcGIS, this paper designs an optimal route planning model for Heavy-Cargo Highway Transportation in the road network, puts forward the transport routes solutions for the decision makers of pipe department and transportation enterprise and evaluates the model through the analyses of numerical example. On this basis, on the one hand, there is a lot of previous research and data collection and processing work needs to do, such as making road network digital and completing the processing of network analysis and attribute data in ArcGIS, before seting up the entire transportation network platform for the GIS spatial data; On the other hand, the influence factors should be analyzed according to input conditions of selection model, the panel with reasonable ratio is made up of specialist and proficient persons, by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the factors, so as to make the evaluation results fit tally with the input conditions better; Then using network analysis techniques to calculate and estimate the optimal transportation routes, at the last, the model is evaluated and its advantages relative to the previous method are pointed out in the paper. |
