Since the railway transportation system has been greatly accelerated,not only the speed of the train is improved,the operating density is significantly increased.Many fast sections have been unable to adopt artificial means to repair and maintenance work,only large track maintenance machine is used to repair and maintenance on the line during limited time,and the use of tamping vehicle to tamper on the line is one of the most important maintenance work. The train safety is ensured as the density of the track bed ballast and the stability of the track has been increased by tamping operations.Developing of tamping vehicle is considered the most important of the various track maintenance machine.Therefore, the research on tamping mechanism of large track maintenance machine is necessary.With the introduction of a variety of foreign tamping vehicle, theoretical research on tamping device technology is also constantly developing,,mainly in the exciting exposition of the principles of tamping vehicle, composition, interpretation and other aspects of the amplitude and frequency of vibration.Due to difficulty in simulation by software and situ testing, and lack of equipment to simulate the indoor scene tamping process, the domestic technology research for tamping device still stay in the summary of the technical parameters and structural aspects of the existing tamping device.The operating mechanism and optimize on the structure and technical parameters of the tamping device were rarely involved.Aiming at this situation,the characteristics of railway gravel ballast and tamping mechanism were elaborated,and the test equipment was researched. Details are as follows:In this paper,the characteristics of railway gravel ballast and the associated vibration theory was elaborated.Then tamping mechanism was discussd from the perspective of energy waves.In this paper,program of test bed trials pitvehicle load loading device, tamping device and detection device of tamping mechanism experimental platform was designed.The main parameters and performance indicators of the experimental device were calculated. SolidWorks software was used to build the three-dimensional model of experimental platform. Then the various parts and components were assembled.At last, physical model was received.In this paper, COSMOSMotion software was used for kinematics simulation of the three-dimensional model of type I and type II tamping device with different operating conditions.And the model size was amended by the simulation results. In this paper, finite element analysis software ANSYS was used to verify the theory of the train axle load distribution,the reasonableness of the design for vehicle load loading device was verified.In this paper, finite element analysis software ANSYS was used to conduct dynamic analysis on horizontal movement mechanism,including modal analysis, harmonic analysis and transient dynamic analysis. The first ten natural frequencies and mode shapes of the structure of the two conditions were got by modal analysis. The order of frequency was determined Harmonic analysis,when the structure was subjected to electrical interference excitation force by. In these areas, the speed was need to quickly increase when the motor starts.The structural changes in amplitude over time was obtained and speed region with the greatest amplitude was determined by transient dynamics when start-up. Reference for subsequent damping structures such optimization was received by all these.
