The Study On The Relevant Problems Of High-Speed Railway Express Freight Transportation Organization

With the rapid development of our social economy and the adjustment of industrial structure, the rapid increase in demand for the express freight transportation. Compared with the traditional freight, the demands of express freight has higher standards, such as high speed and timely. While the gradual improvement of high-speed railway network, and the freight transportation reform of China Railway Corp, the development of express freight transportation are welcomed realistic foundation and historic opportunity. In this context, this thesis discussed some problems related in the high-speed railway express freight transportation on organization.(1) Analyzing China’s high-speed railway express freight market. Analyzing the necessity of developing the high-speed railway express freight transportation, through summarizing the changes in the structure of the railway freight market, and the characteristics of high-speed railway express freight market. According to the demand characteristics of high-speed railway express freight market, this section analysis the factors of express freight modes choice.(2) Analyzing the technical feasibility of high-speed railway express freight transportation. Proposing the transformation to adapt to the requirements of high-speed railway transportation, by analyzing carrying vehicles, lines, freight loading equipment, freight handling equipment, goods packaging. Based on the analysis of the freight handling operation area in high-speed railway, this section explore the processes of freight handling operation on the high-speed railway express freight transportation.(3) Analyzing the feasibility of the benefit of high-speed railway express freight transportation. Compared with the unit operating cost of the high-speed passenger transportation, estimate the unit operating cost of the high-speed express freight transportation by activity-based costing of operation cost account. By using comparative analysis approach, we put the income of the high-speed express freight transportation comparing with the high-speed passenger transportation and air express transportation, based on some assumptions. Finally, this article proposes that operating high-speed railway express freight transportation is fesible.(4) Research on transportation organizing of high-speed railway express freight transportation. This thesis analyses the principle and the basic form of high-speed railway express freight trains and proposes the idea of mainly developing the mode of passenger train with railway baggage cars, properly developing the mode of high-speed railway express freight special train, and the processes it’s transportation organization. Establish a multi-objective programming model for making train plan and some basis steps to make plan were presented.
