Analysis Of Railway Express Freight Transportation System And Study On The Express Freight Train Plan

With the social and economic development, express freight service has become a major trend of the railway freight transportation. Due to the industrial structure adjustment, some new features have arisen in the freight market. Besides, the competition of the market has become fierce even more. Providing express fright service has become an important object of the railway cargo transportation in China. In fact, express freight transport in Chinese railway started lately, and the lack of systematic theoretical study in the field has even influenced its development. In this context, this thesis discussed some problems related in the development of railway express freight transportation system.1. Analyzing changes in the freight market and disadvantage of the traditional railway freight transport, this paper discussed the features which railway express freight transport should have. Linked with the practice of Chinese railway enterprise, this paper discussed some problems about cargos in the system;2. With application of systems science theory, this paper analyzed the railway express freight transportation system, including elements of characteristics, goals, system type, borders, environment, structure and function; On this basis, the paper probed goods flow organization and operational processes in the system;3. This paper carried through the SWOT analysis of problems in railway resources providing the express transport service. Transportation model was used to quantize the SWOT analysis.4. The paper analyzed the modes of the express freight train operation and related factors. Combined with cargo flow, line capacity, train routine and formation as constraints, a multi-objective programming model was established for making train-running plan and the basis steps to make plan were presented. In order to solving model, this paper discussed the method based on the fuzzy mathematics method, by which the multi-objective model can be transformed into single-objective model.5. By WSR-based methodology, this paper built evaluation index system for the train plan. At last. the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to establish the evaluation model to compare with multiple objects, which provides a guideline for plan comparison.
